KOOLCHA is a collective activity designed and implemented by our team as part of the MODUAL workshop in collaboration with UAL (University of Arts in London) and Fred and Company.
This workshop is made up of selected students from several creative platforms at the University of Arts in London.
The platform was launched primarily to assist more people in understanding the complex creative insight in the creative industry, while also working on a project with different creative minds and utilising one's skill set in the field to create a digital awareness programme to address one significant issue creators felt needed to be addressed in our daily lives using the creative platform.

This is the final logo I designed during our collaborative effort, which my team helped to refine into its final form. We were mentored and given new techniques to help us build our own concept before the launch night throughout each session.
Everyone in the team I was a part of freely voiced their thoughts and skill sets by appointing each individual to handle specific tasks where their expertise was necessary. We focused on evaluating what we had done and then brainstormed what worked and what needed to be refined so that we could further go on with the ideas we each had in mind during each session.

We have decided on the brand identity KOOLCHA. We were able to design the brand name KOOLCHA through an experimental meeting after brainstorming what our project's main goal and objective were.
We chose the name KOOLCHA to reflect the accent or dialect of how the word "culture" is pronounced when spoken in the UK dialect or speech form.
Because our project's purpose was to generate and motivate younger generations and adults to learn about other cultures throughout the world through a fun application.

The visual result of our distinctive and typographic logo branded on various mediums is shown here.
On the left is a laser-cut pin badge, as well as a wooden craft produced during our Makerversity session at Somerset House. On the right, you can see a mockup of our brand identity, which we wanted to attempt and include for our launch night.

We created a lot of typographic, numeric, and character designs throughout our session.
We wanted to use bright pastel colours in this design to attract and signify many cultures from around the world. I wanted to make an impression on our target demographic by graphically illustrating how each culture is distinct and colourful in its own way.
Learning is enjoyable and educational, and individuals should not be scared to explore and cherish it.
